Based in Fort Myers, Lee Memorial Health System is the leading provider of healthcare services in Southwest Florida and has served the area for over 90 years. With over 1,500 inpatient beds, more than 8,000 employees and 1,200 physicians on staff, LMHS hospitals represent 95 percent of inpatient beds in Lee County. While on the outside we may seem like a big company, on the inside we’re all family.
An integrated delivery system, LMHS includes five acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals (a children’s hospital and a rehabilitation hospital). In addition, LMHS operates a home health agency, a skilled nursing facility, outpatient centers, urgent care centers and a large primary care practice group. LMHS is also home to the only Trauma Center, only Kidney Transplant Center, and only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit between Tampa and Miami.
LMHS has received numerous national awards for excellence, as both a healthcare provider and employer.
